I am married and have 3 beautiful children aged 15, 13 and 10. I love being a midwife and have always been thrilled about playing a role in bringing new life into this world. I enjoy all facets of midwifery care from antenatal education throughout the pregnancy journey, support through birth and postnatal care. My passion is to ensure women feel comfortable and supported in all aspects of pregnancy care with a friendly face and a great sense of humour.
I enjoy incorporating my 2 roles both at North East Women's Health and North Eastern Community Hospital to ensure a comprehensive approach to care and continuity for the women we care for.
I look forward to helping make your pregnancy journey memorable and supported.
I feel very honoured and proud to be a team member of North East Women's Health. The practice is such a caring, friendly, professional and women friendly environment.
I have worked at North East Women's Health as a registered midwife for nearly 10 years, I also work at the North Eastern Community Hospital on a casual basis.
As a Midwife at North East Women's Health I help, support and educate women, their partners and families throughout their antenatal journey, part of my role is to also provide assistance, advice, encouragement and support postnatally to our mums and dads as they begin to navigate their new roles as parents.
I truly feel extremely privileged to be involved and able to work so closely with women and their families during this important stage of their lives.
I have been a registered nurse / midwife for many years – having trained at the Women's and Children Hospital and Queen Victoria Hospital then transferring back to the WCH when the hospitals amalgamated. Over the past 10 years I have worked part time in the Women's Assessment Service and the Private consulting suite at the WCH while also working part time in Private Practice at North East Women's Health.
I left the WCH 3 years ago and have continued working in Private Practice at North East Women's Health and Ashford rooms.
I feel privileged to be a part of a great team of staff dedicated in providing care and support to the families we meet and to the women who see us for gynaecology issues.
In my spare time I love long relaxing walks on the beach with by gorgeous “four legged” boy Ollie.
Since completing by training some years ago, I have predominantly worked in paediatrics and as a midwife.
In my role as a midwife, I have been afforded many opportunities to work with women providing and supporting them throughout their pregnancy as well as postnatally.
I am a married mum to 2 beautiful children aged 13 and 10. Growing up as a child I always wanted to look after babies. Throughout my time as a nurse, I still discovered that I wanted to play an important role in supporting women through their birthing journey.
I graduated from my midwifery degree in 2002 and completed a graduate year at Ashford Hospital. Since 2003 I have worked at North Eastern Community Hospital supporting women in this special life experience. I greatly enjoy all aspects of midwifery care.
I have also been fortunate enough to be working at North East Women's Health over the past 2 years and thoroughly enjoy the role of continuity of care through the antenatal, birth and postnatal periods.
I look forward to helping women get the most from their journey through pregnancy and birth.
I am a wife and proud mother of 3 beautiful children. For as long as I can remember I have always been passionate about caring for people in their life's Journey. I have been blessed to share the special journey of pregnancy and parenting as a midwife, friend, educator and more recently a Lactation Consultant with many families over the years. Each one special and unique.
As a midwife working at North East Women's Health and North Eastern Community Hospital I have the opportunity to provide holistic care throughout the different stages of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and parenting which I truly enjoy.
I look forward to being a part of your journey.
I have worked as a medical receptionist for over 20 years. I have been working for 2 years at North East Women's Health.
What I love about working at North East Women's Health is meeting new mums for the first time at the start of their pregnancy and when at the end they bring their bundle of joy – it's the best feeling.
I'm a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful children. Being a mother is the best job ever.
I commenced with North East Women's Health in 2014 and was employed as a casual for 6 months while a receptionist was overseas. She chose not to return to Australia so I am still here.
I am a mother of a 21 year old daughter. My hobbies are gardening, cleaning, cooking and going to the gym to do a RPM class.
Highlights of my job are meeting all of the lovely patients and helping them in anyway I can. It is wonderful to see them return on their postnatal visit with their babies and to see the joy that having a child has given them.
